The PGA TOUR plays in Cabo at El Cardonal at Diamante, the first golf course ever designed by Tiger Woods. It hosts the World Wide Technology Championship, Mexico’s PGA TOUR event, which returns November 5–8, 2026 for its 20th edition. A field of 120 players will compete for a $6 million purse on the Pacific coast of Cabo San Lucas.

In 2007 this tournament became the first official PGA TOUR event played outside the U.S. and Canada, with Fred Funk as its first champion. It moved to El Cardonal in 2023, and 2026 is its fourth straight year at Diamante. Over its history, 33 Mexican pros have made 95 appearances, and the event has given more than $4 million to charity. The broadcast reaches more than 220 countries and territories.
