Diamante and Quivira are the two big private golf communities on the Pacific side of Cabo San Lucas. Both have a world-ranked golf course, ocean views and gated luxury homes, but they work very differently. Diamante is a club-style community with two championship courses and a 10-acre lagoon, where homes start at $1.25M. Both communities are on the Pacific side of Cabo San Lucas and both are a 2 to 3 hour nonstop flight from Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Dallas and Houston. We usually tour both in one trip so you can feel the difference in person.
Quivira. As of October 2026, its median listing price is about $855K, and Mavila studios start at $239K. In Diamante, condos start at $1.25M and the median home is about $2.65M.
In Alvar ($1.9M–$3.8M), Monte Cristo Estates, Coronado ($3.2M–$4.4M) and St. Regis Residences ($3.95M–$5.2M), plus some Copala homes.
Diamante feels more like a private club. Quivira is connected to the Pueblo Bonito resorts, so it has more of a resort atmosphere.
